Lets just say that you lost all the weight you desired. Would you wear short shorts even though you had cellulite on the backs of your thighs? And why or why not?

Edit by short shorts I do not mean your standard pair of shorts I am talking about:

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe, but only in the summertime when it's 40C+. I've got a pretty stubborn dusting of hair on the backs of my thighs that's really difficult to get shaved (I am NOT that flexible) so cellulite or no I'd be really reluctant on that factor alone.

It'd be kinda tempting though, lol

No, I would not. It's gross. Maybe it shouldn't matter, but the street is not your bedroom. I also wouldn't want to see a man with a big gut walking around shirtless.

It really is, shorts are already appearing on mannequins down here.

I draw the line at letting the bottom biscuits hang out.

I would not. I think some things are just not age appropriate, regardless of how awesome your body looks.

^^^^ THIS! I'd cause eye damage.

Even in the hottest summer days, I wear long skirts and maybe have some ankle to mid-calf showing. I wear stockings or tights with all other lengths. Same reason you won't ever catch me in a swimsuit.

I gave up short shorts back in the 80's.
    The masses thank me.

Lmao, I'd wear normal shorts *if* I lost a lot of weight...never denim underwear. As it is right now and for the past 7 years, I only leave the house in jeans.

I agree - not a classy look. Your ? did have me thinking about how different is it in a swim suit. When I want to swim (hopefully my biscuits don't hang out LOL) I wear suits that show the cellulite on the back of my thighs but I'm also proud to have lost 40 + lbs & no matter how much I exercise it doesn't want to go away. Hey, I even bought my 1st 2 piece swiim suits in years last summer. I guess a confident woman is a sexy woman no matter what (as long as the biscuits don't hang out :-)
  • No way! I don't like my *kitten* crack being exposed so I probably wouldn't like my cheeks out either haha..

but as for shorts, If I had cellulite on the back of my legs or even just below my butt cheeks, OF course I'd wear shorts! If the weather is hot, I'm gonna wear less clothing when outside! Why roast because I have what most women have on their legs? kind of silly.

So I would not let half my booty hang out of anything I wore in public but I do wear shorts that are just a bit longer than the end of my rear and I think I have earned them. Its 120 degrees here in the summer. I peel off as much clothing as I can.

I call those "janties"-jean panties. So no, not walking down the road in my underwear. Though when I run at 6am during Louisiana heat waves, I wear shorter shorts than I would out and about.

Well, I don't think anyone needs to be walking around in public with their *kitten* cheeks hanging out, whether they have cellulite or not lol Would I wear shorts if I had cellulite (which I do!)? Yes. Would I have my *kitten* cheeks hanging out of the bottom of said shorts? No.

If someone has a problem with my cellulite they can look away :drinker:

No to bottom cheeks hanging out, but yes to short shorts, especially if you have short legs. Long shorts look like you are in a scouts uniform! I think everybody female has some cellulite unless you are under 12. It looks worse in some light and non existent in others.
I think as long as it's not indecent we should all cut each other some slack...no one is perfect!

I'm too old for that.. I think with some nice color on your legs.. alone with your man in Mexico.. yes. at the local mall.. nope. You can still be very sexy and not show so much skin.

Yes, because there is nothing wrong with cellulite. But that's coming from someone who thinks there isn't anything wrong with the appearance of any body.

I wish that people would have more self-love and acceptance. And that everyone could dress in any way that makes them feel comfortable, liberated and expressive. That is very difficult to do in our society.

Like! Why are us women scared of a little cellulite?? So much so that we won't wear shorts when its hot outside?! Who cares! Get some sun on those legs ladies! :drinker:

I don't think the problem with those shorts is cellulite.... is more of a "showingtoomuch" , as said before... those look like denim underwear, and that is just too much...

I personally don't like shorts for myself, but if girls like them cellulite should not stop them...after all most women have some...

This is Florida, baby! If you've got it, flaunt it! If you don't, flaunt it anyway!

That being said, this summer I might actually buy a pair of shorts that is cut ABOVE the knee. Very risque for 27...
