Can they track what locations you go to with the key fob thingy? Just wondering because I found another location with better weight equipment but I don't want to hurt the feelings of my home location manager. I wonder if she can see which locations I go to?

    My understanding was that since they are individual franchises that the fob only gave you access to the one you joined. Is that not the case?

    If you do have access to all locations then I would go to the one that works best and if the franchisee says anything to you about it then simply explain why that other location is better for you. In reality, you are providing them valuable feedback that they may use to improve their business. You may not be the only person having this dilemma and maybe other members at that location have been leaving for the same reason. Ya never know.

    Those kinds of conversations are best treated like a bandaid, just be upfront but polite and get it over with.

    I used to be a member when I lived in the states. Yes, you have access to all facilities, not just the one you originally signed up for.

    I don't know if they can see where you go, but wouldn't be a little creepy if they were looking you up to see when and where you work out? If the other location has better equipment go there -- you pay for it. Don't sacrifice your workout to avoid hurting someone's feelings. If you are that concerned about it, use it as an opportunity to suggest getting better equipment.
