i have been a very lazy person my whole life, but thanks to my mom and doctor i am finally getting into shape and watching what i eat. Today was the first time in 6 years i actually ran outside it feels really good when your body is getting into shape. I have found that since i have celiac diseases it is alot harder to lose weigh because alot of the foods are so high in calories.

The important thing is that you realize you needed to change your lifestyle Eating is always a challenge for most. Just improve as you can. And for exercise, remember to start slowly, setting realistic goals that you can achieve. The increase as you are able. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.0

the biggest thing that amazes me is now i measure my food and how much i was overeating before0

whether you walk, crawl or run you burn about the same calories covering the same distance; so there's no need to go straight out & start running, start with some nice walks, you'll cover 3 miles in an hour at a reasonable pace, & that's 300 calories in the bank0

I agree, Faith -- when you see how many calories you were eating without knowing it, at least for me, it was a really crazy feeling. Before, it was like "I don't know how I really, truly got this big" but then looking at how much I was eating, I can see now.
Best of luck to you. It's hard -- you'll run into times where you just want nothing more than to eat like crazy, especially during things like holidays and family get togethers and such. But it can be done!0 -
also i finding the little changes help. Like my mom used to drive me a half mile to the bus stop now this semester i am walking.0
