hey everyone,
for people who use personal heart rate monitors while they do turbofire...how many calories do you burn per class? Preferably answers from women around 5'2" and 145 lbs...similar to me. I am wondering if my HRM is not working as I push myself as hard as I possibly can and am not in horrible shape and I still only manage to burn less than 200 calories on Fire 55...it seems a bit low to me. thanks in advance. Oh and I"m 23 years old...that probably makes a difference too.

I just did my first workout...FIre Starter and I burned 340 calories. I'm 26...5'3" and 142 lbs. Do you have your correct info set in your HRM? Age, weight, etc?

Haven't done Fire 55 yet. I burned 450 on the fire starter video and stretch 10 on Monday and around 250 yesterday with Low HIIT 20 and Stretch 10. I am 5'5" and 165 lbs.

This probably won't help, but I burn 783, but that was when I first got my HRM and I was about 15lbs heavier. I just got a new HRM so I'll be using my new weight with that one. I'm 5'4" and 191lbs.

i'm your height and a couple of pounds heavier- in very good cardio shape (ran regularly most of last year) and I burn around 350-450 a day with turbofire- 55ez I burn 450-500 depending on how into it I am. I wear a Bodymedia fit and have for the last year- and I totally trust the numbers. Your hrm is underestimating! Does it have fitness level settings? When I used one I didnt know that mine did and it makes a huge difference in the burn as to whether it's set to beginner, intermediate or advanced.

I'm 5'2 and 143. I wear my HRM when I do TurboFire and when I did Fire 30 this morning, I burned 329 calories. Hope this helps!

If you have a chest strap, make sure it's snug but not restricting and that the sensors are wet when u put it on. I'm 5'1" & 167 lbs. I burn anything btwn 250 - 450 cals on TF depending on the workout.
