My scale was acting a little naughty so i replaced with a new one. Both digital. This scale is weighing me about 1.8 pounds heavier. I am soooooo anal about the accuracy on MFP.... can I have some suggestions as to how to handle this discrepancy for my weekly weigh in that is n Tuesday morning?

weight fluctuates more than that anyway, just enter whatever number it gives you and move on. It will not affect your long term goals.

don't rely on the scale for your results! I am scale obsessive - I used to weight 2-3 times per day! I now weigh one time a day at most and am trying to only do it every few days. I am trying to focus on how I feel, how my clothes fit and how I look (gulp) naked. Depending on your exercise level and activity there may be times when you weigh in heavier but you have lost inches. But we have been programmed to focus on that scale number and when it doesn't go the way we want it to we freak out and start doing crazy things to get it to budge. So don't rely solely on the scale or you will drive your self nuts - voice of experience!

    Good luck!!

When i first step on the scale that is the weight i go by. If i get on a second time is it always different.
