Workout Tunes

Since I finally splurged on some quality headphones for my workouts, I’m going to create a workout play list entitled, “Get Your Butt in Shape.” Which song, artist, band, genre etc. pumps you up the most when you are working out?

Kid Rock's cover of Legs really gets me going during a workout, I don't know why. I also love beautiful People by Marilyn Manson. I'm definitely a rock girl, GnR, Metallica, etc. I also like some rap, and depending things like Ke$ha, Far East Movement, Black Eyed Peas, Pitbull get me going, too.

Not everyones cup of tea but what works best for my workouts ist some Industrial and/or EBM...

    Good examples:
    Grendel - "Soilbleed" and "Zombienation"
Combichrist - "Blut Royale" or "get your body beat up"
    Aesthetic Perfection - "Inhuman"
    Faderhead - "P***y Rules" or "Electrosl**ts extraordinaire"
    VNV Nation - "Control"
    Frozen Plasma - "Warmongers"

This stuff is definately NOT suitable for kids... Explicit Lyrics as u can assume

Do you use Songza? It is a free app that streams playlists. There are a whole bunch of ready made workout playlists. It has made my workouts so much more fun and you can switch it up daily without having to download more music.

As an alternative, I am not sure what you have for a device, but I just stream pandora and typed in "workout" for the station. It is pretty good and free!!!!

Thanks for the tip about Songza. I have never used that before! I still like having a playlist of songs I know pump me up, but I will have to check Songza out to change it up. =)

I use Pandora sometimes, but I love having some tracks saved to a list, too. I have never tried searching workout, though, so I will have to do that! Thanks. =)
