Ringworm and Loose Skin

The good news is that I have lost 175+ pounds in the last 14 months. The bad news is that I have some loose skin and about a week ago, I got some really bad ringworm on my upper thighs and buttocks. I think the loose skin may have contributed to the ringworm. I started to apply some topical antifugal cream but it's painful, unsightly, irritating, and depressing. I figure this is just one thing to deal with. I also have a hemorrhoid to go along with the ringworm. I was doing really good with my weight loss and feeling great but this has been a setback for me. I was in so much pain from both the ringworm and hemorroid, I couldn't even exercise today. Any advice?

Just like a healthy body needs exercise....it needs rest. Any exercise will raise your blood pressure which can make the swollen blood vessel nets that are responsible for your hemorrhoid worse, not to mention sweat irritating your rash. Take some time to rest. The sooner you rest, the sooner you get better.
Feel better soon,

Ringworm is a fungal infection, you need to figure out what you got it from if it is actually ringworm. It sounds like it could possibly be chafing. Did a medical professional give you a diagnosis? If not, you could be putting antifungal cream on something that doesn't need it.0

It could be ringworm (tinea) or it could just be chafing. Make sure you dry under the skin folds properly after you shower. I use a non-talc based powder in some spots just to help keep the area dry. You could also get your doctor's opinion as to whether there is an actual infection so that you don't treat the skin unnecessarily. They might be able to do a skin scraping/biopsy and send it away for analysis to confirm or exclude skin infection.
Maybe another option is a barrier cream applied to the area in the morning.0
