Hi guys

Just joined this group today and wanted some advice. Well I have been smoke free for 11 days now and feel really positive. My only problem is sleeping or lack of it. I have always been one of those people as soon as my head its the pillow I'm out like a light, now I can't seem to drift off. I'm not drinking and tea or coffee after midday as I thought that would help but no. I am also exercising everyday for my weight lose and also to tire me out. Can anyone help?

For me when I can't fall asleep I drink warm mint tea, with sugar sweetner it usually does the trick. I have been smoke free for one month.

Congrats on your quit!! I really didn't start feeling like myself again until about the two week mark. I'm just under 3 months quit and I feel terrific!

I've heard of all kinds of withdrawl effects, and I believe sleepless nights was one of them....I didn't have that. I had the unreasonable crankiness!! LOL

There may be not much you can do until your body resumes it's 'normal' balance. Keep doing what you're doing!!

Well done for day 11 :drinker:

Good excuse to exercise more to tire yourself out lol. I think a few people get insomnia a little.

18 days without smoking here. You can go to a natural herb store and see if you can take some pills to help you in this first stage. Some might have interactions with other pills so if you do, check them out . Good luck !
