I'm one of those people who have to force myself to eat breakfast on schedule. But it's neccessary and a must now, so that I get my vitamins and pills down in the morning. This ensures they have have some cushion and padding in my stomach.
I used to take my vitamins and wash them down with coffee, and eat nothing until lunchtime. Leading to some sharp pains in my stomach & GERD .. Just a bad belly. :frown: But now, I really really can see the difference in how much better I feel, that I've been able to force down the Nutrisystems Double Chocolate Muffin or one of their donuts, with a cup of almond/coconut milk. I mean how hard is it to eat a little chocolate cupcake with your coffee and vitamins? Yummy, quick, & done. (Feel Better)
The thing is, now I'm not doing Nutrisystems 100%, and its rather expensive at almost $3 per muffin. I'm looking for a replacement item for breakfast. One that I can make myself, that may be even better than that. Ssssh not too long ago there was a box of Entamins donuts in my house. I took the box & compared the content to the NS muffin and just **** in my pants. I better not keep eating those, and thinking that should be okay. Maybe once in a while.. But don't make a habit of that.
Just wondering if anyone has any recipes that are mostly healthly, with a tiny bit of sin with the dark chocolate chips.. Some kind of chocolate. Is there such a thing as a chocolate chocolate "Healthy" donut?? I'm looking for breakfast thing to eat that is quick to eat, with the taste of chocolate, and healthy, and I would be able to bake a batch, once a week, and have those as my breakfast entrees throughout the week. Below is the nutritional content of those chocolate muffins. I like the idea of bran muffins too. I am open to trying Gluten Free, Vegan, and any kind. Just as long as it tastes sweet. I do allow a bit of sugar in my diet. I do realize that ones I've been eating have 15 grams of sugar in each.

Yes.... I love that website. And the muffins i made yesterday, I think I got this Paula Dean recipe, from that site. Only I used 1/2 the oil called for, and whole wheat flour, and half/half brown sugar to regular sugar.
Thank you ladies, for responding. So Im set with some muffins for next week. They are not chocolate, they are zuchini, but I am going to check out that site for more recipes. Ones with chocolate! :laugh:0
