Sorted out my wardrobe today and got rid of two bin bags full of clothes that are too big for me, I've kept one pair of jeans that I used to wear a lot to remind me of where I started. It's a strange feeling getting rid of those clothes it's like removing the safety net if that makes sense, there's no going back now.

Hi..although MFP shows 21 lbst, it's actually 45..i started losing weight in Jan but didn't start tracking till i joined. I had to go out and buy 4 pairs of new pants last week. Absolutely nothing fit anymore and my work pants made me look like bozo the clown. Felt good but forgot about the cost to upgrade :)...hopefully I'm good for another 25 lbs. Congrats to all of us....

It's a good feeling to be able to get rid of old, big clothes. It also gives you motivation because if you gain back the weight you have to go and buy new big clothes again. Since I started my weight loss adventure 2 years ago I have made two trips to Goodwill with 4 39 gallon bags full of clothes each time and gave away a huge load of clothes on Craigslist. I need to go make my 3rd trip to Goodwill soon. Maybe I will put it on my "To Do" list since I will be on vacation Monday and Tuesday.

That's gotta be a good feeling to get rid of too-big clothes - I know I'm about 20lbs away from a whole treasure trove of clothes in my closet fitting again - I can't wait!

When I lost a bunch of weight before one thing I didn't think about buying was new underwear until mine were practically falling down...lol - so, remember the little things. You lose weight everywhere (imagine that!).
