Seattle 5k

Is anyone in the Seattle area that would want to participate with me in a 5k? I am thinking about doing one that takes place at the beginning of next month.

It would be a great way to meet new, like-minded people, and it would also be an awesome way to stay motivated and work towards something.

Anyone? :embarassed:

You might have to bump....threads get buried often. Also, you're asking something very specific that will really only apply to a relative handful of MFP users. Specific race in a specific city....is very specific.

What do you mean by bump? How do you?

I'm in the Seattle area but I'm not too sure about being able to do that yet! I just started my journey this month and I wouldn't consider myself that fit..

Easiest way to meet runners in an area is to join a running club. Either try Meetup.com or cruise by your local running store and ask somebody there. If nothing else Niketown does group runs.

    Oh ok. Thanks.

I don't consider myself as much of a runner, though.

There are just fun 5k's here... :frown:
