I always start out so strong then just die out. Esp around TOM.
My daughter had cheer camp last week and one of the photographers got me in a photo (didnt mean to i dont think as the photo wasnt centered on me and im just barely there) but seeing the pic disgusts me. one would assume that picture would be enough to keep my *kitten* in gear. but it wasnt. when i seen the picture i was shocked. surely that isnt what *I* look like. it couldnt be. its only depressed me even more and made me not want to do anything.

Said picture is under my photos on my page...(though ill probably delete it later when this post dies)

HELP! I need some serious motivation

Just for today come back, and then one more… and then another. The road seems long and arduous but you CAN do it, just come back.

It's a journey, take it one day, one hour, one minute, one moment of time if you need too.

Aww, I hear you. I just started this journey again too and thought I'd better take a "before" picture. Clearly my brain and eyes don't connect properly, because what I saw in those photos didn't come close to how much better I feel working out for the past week and definitely didn't reflect what I "see" in the mirror. I too was super bummed because it's such a disconnect and thought why am I doing this? So here's what I did. I got 5 minutes to be all "woe is me". And then I had to keep moving forward. I've decided to not take another photo for at least a month, and fingers crossed if I keep up my end of the bargain (aka continuing to watch what I eat and work out) hopefully the camera and resulting photo will keep up it's end of the bargain (aka show me some progress!).

Don't give up. Bad photos suck, but I think what would suck more is to give up and have to start the same weight loss journey all over again. This type of change isn't instantaneous without a team of plastic surgeons.

So keep at it. Keep your head high. Good luck!

well giving up won't change the picture or the next one of a whole new you since you didn't give up, right? Besides your daughter has to learn to NEVER GIVE UP! I'm here if I can help.:flowerforyou:

My get up and go gets up and leaves everytime i look in a mirror never mind a photo, then the kids start calling and i find it all over again. You should be proud of yourself that you are able to take your daughter to cheer camp. Imagine what you would say to her if she wanted to give up cheering just because the cheer didnt go right first time.
Remember you havent failed until you quit trying.
 Go you! I know we can do it if we stick together!
