I'm starting my diet. I want to lose weight and look toned. I'm trying to decide what I should eat for my first day?

Eat something that you can make into a lifestyle change, so things that you can eat happily every day (probably not exactly the same but you get my drift )
I tend to have fruit and a yogurt for breakfast
Salad or a Sandwich for lunch
Dinners with 1/4 Protein, 1/4 Carbs, 1/2 Veggies (although if you want to build muscle you may want more protein)
and then for a snack I tend to have whatever is in the cupboards and fits into my macros
If you keep it simple then you are more likely to stick with it

Food you like the taste of, that's lower in calories than food you normally eat, that fits into your calorie guidelines for the day. Then go for a walk. Voila, balance. Balance works1
