Toning workouts

I need some good toning excercises for my arms, legs, and butt. Would doing 25 push ups daily help with my arms? Would doing 15 squats daily help with my legs/butt? Would doing 35 lunges daily help with my legs/butt? Would doing 20 crunches daily help with my stomach?

I think what the person above was trying to say is that "toning" means reducing body fat, and exercises do not target fat loss. You can't choose where you lose it. When you work your legs, for example, the energy (fat) could be coming from your arms or face, depending on your genetics.
The best thing to do is follow the usual advice for losing fat - eating the right number of calories, doing cardio often, and following a full-body strength training program, like New Rules of Lifting, for example.0 -

You're muscles do one of two things. They either GROW - or they SHRINK.
They can only grow if they are at a calorie surplus. (this is generally called bulking- but it doesn't matter what you call it)
So- if you want to have muscle definition (typically the generic- wishy washy media induced implication of the word 'tone') you have to do two things.
You have to build muscle.
And then lose body fat so you can SEE said muscles.
