Hi there MFP! This is my first post :)

I am writing because I am genuinely worried about my weight loss. I have not really changed anything in my life during the period of the last 4 or 5 months. I finished college, then suddenly out of nowhere, I started losing weight. I was around 206lbs in July, now I am 170lbs. I have not changed anything in my diet, if anything It had got worse being unemployed at the time. It is really strange, for years I spent bigger than most, then suddenly It melted off, and I am still losing - even when I eat a lot of junk food. It is really strange, people have said its because I am in the final stages of puberty, don't know if true or not. Either way, I need to settle my mind as it is quite worrying.

Any Ideas what may be causing this?

Thanks :)

    See your doctor.

Oh, and how did you manage to finish college by age 18?

Agree with others-you need to see your doctor. At my last check up my weight loss (which had happened in between my annual visits), raised a red flag and that was the first thing my doctor asked me about when he walked into the room, after looking at my chart. Unexplained weight loss is a symptom of many things, including cancers. This is how we found out a relative had stomach cancer-sudden, unexplained weight loss with no other symptoms at all. It's probably nothing serious, but it definitely should be checked out.
