New Distance Goal Reached--and broken!

I set out today to set a new biking distance of 50 miles---

WELLL, I did that plus 2.7 more for a total of 52.7 miles!!!!!!!!! a084.gif

It took me 4 hours and 10 minutes.

And, in the process, I burned up.................drum roll please!

2441 FREAKING CALORIES!

HOLY COW! holycowsmile.gif

How am I going to eat all of that!

    The great wall of chocolate cake is my FAVORITE! I knew it had alot of calories, but not that many! Its a good thing that my hubby and I share it 2 days in a row...Congrats on your success shorerider!

    Well, I had a HUGE bowl of pasta with cheese! With a side of yellow squash.

    Then a Key Lime Yogurt and a banana smoothie.

    For dinner, I'm planning chicken baked with light bread crumbs and cheese on top and 2 ears of corn!

    Then another yogurt for dessert with a glass of soy milk.

    Then,, a bedtime snack of graham crackers with PB (that's for my overnight glucose levels).

    Hmmmm, still leaves me 900 and some short for the day thud.gif

    When I bike long distances I find that I am starving all day long. Enjoy those calories.

    Yeah, no kidding! After my lunch, I thought "no way i can even look at food for dinner" but after my nap, I'm now starving again! Getting ready to fix dinner early.

    Incredible how just an extra 12 miles can make you feel because I didn't feel like this when I did 40 miles. !
