Sherry that saying is very true.
Today that is what I did. I did both workouts from TUFFer Phase 2 Strength. Second one a little less intense in order to finish it. Then it was on to Treadmill walking.
Enjoy the start of this workout week.0 -
^^That's how I'm approaching this stupid cold too.
Got my run and my secret shopping done today. Woohoo! I ran down my usual route, turned, crossed a neighborhood, started back up by the tram line and hit the 24 minute mark right outside the shop and walked right in, still huffing and puffing. haha! The sales lady must've thought I was crazy, standing there sweating and huffing & puffing, but I bought a boat-load of Hello Kitty stuff from her, and they have just gained a customer for Christmas shopping too, so I think they couldn't care less how I looked. Wish I coulda got a full 30min, but not bad. Also walked all the way back from the shop, did some more shopping, plus all the usual walking to/from school & tutor. Not bad for a sick girl.
Looking to do TUFF upper body 2 tonight.
Have a great start to the week everyone!0 -
Hi wow great way to christmas shop! lol I am sure store owners as long as you buy don't care what you look like (within reason... )
I have two new challenge teams today that start to get me going on the weight part of things, exercise is easier for me.
My husband and I decided this winter to spend one hour a day doing something extra around the house. I am hoping we can really do this!0 -
Well done everyone today! Sorry I was slipping today and am now just logging in. Today I worked out my back and abs and ran my normal 5K route all together 73 minutes and burned 738 calories. Here in awhile I am going to run again and workout my biceps and forearms.0

My cold is derailing my November goals. My run Saturday turned into a walk, and yesterday I alternated between sleeping & laying on the couch watching TV. I wasn't feeling up for any serious cardio yet today so walked pretty slowly on the treadmill, then had a great trainer session. He adapted it because I had been sick, although it was hard enough that I finally had to ask what he had been planning if this was the "easy" version.

Laura, I hope you get to feeling better. I did the bed<->sofa circuit on Sunday and my body thanked me for it and allowed me to run the next day. I believe that exercise can help a sick body, but only if you also give it the rest it needs too. Well done.0
