Week 3, Day 2. I had to take a week off because of shin splints so I'm redoing week 3.

    This morning's run was W5D1. Fantastic, 8 weeks ago I could/wouldn't run 10 yards!

And yes, I started in Aug. Stopped due to knee problems and then repeated W3 when I started up again. So...here I am in Sept :)

Did W2D3 last night. My knees hurt - the inner part. Is this normal? Will it get better as I get stronger? Am wondering if I need to get fitted for better shoes. Mine are ok, but not 'proper' running shoes (didn't think I'd need them until I became a 'proper' runner).

I'm starting to fall behind a bit. this is supposed to be week 4 for me, but I still haven't finished week 3 day 3 yet. I need to start spreading the days out instead of doing them at the very end of the week (fri, sat, sun)

I started week 6 last Monday however, due to travel for work, kind of got off schedule. I re-did W6D1 on 10/18/13 and did W6D2 yesterday. It was rough, think I'm going to redo day 2 as well. I know, only a couple more weeks, but it still seems inobtainable to me for some reason.

    Best of luck everybody!!

Woo! Just finished W5D3. I kinda psyched myself out for the 20 minute run. I finished it though, plus 2 more minutes of running during the cool-down. Still can't see myself doing an actual 5k though =/

KintraT4 I just finished W5D3 today too! I agree with you about feeling like I won't be able to do the actual 5K but 5 weeks ago I wouldn't have thought I could run for 20 minutes without stopping. Sending you a friend request so we can keep each other going.

I'm on W7D2 and I have mine set for distance training so I am currently up to running 2.5 miles at a time. A few weeks ago I would have never thought it was possible! But I have completed every level so far! I should finish the training just in time for my Thanksgiving 5K!
