@ Sherry - Glad to see you got a good run in yesterday! You bet I'll hold you accountable if your not in your new gym next week...I know your very busy over there just got to make time for it. I do like your idea do either a run or workout glad to see your making an active effort.

Great job yesterday everyone I enjoy seeing everyone working so hard!

Started this morning with a Thanksgiving 5k Event Run called The Turkey Trot... I ran with our Army Vet again almost the whole time until close to the end my run time was pretty good 26 minutes for my 5k today. Later on I plan on hitting the gym again and working out my back and abs. Of course eat some good food today the dining facility is having a huge Buffett today lasting almost 10 hours. I'm going to try and control myself and not eat too much hopefully it works out

Got up this morning and did a medicine ball workout. I love that too! It makes me feel like I am really working on my abs. 2 meals and 4 hours in the car :ohwell: But good time with friends and family.

Just wish I could get a good workout in the car - good use of time.

Wish everyone a safe day spending time with friends and family wherever you are.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my compatriots out there. Whether you be having dinner for two, driving for dinner across multiple families, or with an entire military base....I hope it is a wonderful day! :drinker:

Nice range of activities from everyone here today too! Morning Nia, dog walking, running, medball workout, gym workout, even a turkey trot in a place far from home! Way to go pals! I just love this dedicated bunch!!

Normal day here. No turkey.:frown: The usual <--> school, tutor with son. My son didn't have much homework at the tutor, so I kept my run closeby, looped around and ran for time (not distance)--40 minutes. Also got in a fair amount of walking in the warm-up and cool-down (and not timing my run loop very well)--about 50 minutes. The best part was the long HOT shower afterwards (aaaah). I want to work on my form on some lifts tonight with the bar I have at home so I'll be totally prepared to embarrass myself at the gym next week (haha, hopefully NOT).

Enjoy everyone! If you stuff yourself, go easy on yourself--it's just one day a year and there's always tomorrow's workout.

I see it's already the 29th for Tim, but it's still the 28th for me (8:13 pm) so I'm coming back to this thread.

We got snow last night - not a ton (about 4") but enough to make the roads too icy to run outside this morning. My goal was to run outside this morning & do my strength workout after lunch, but since I had to go to the gym to run I did it all while I was there. Instead of a 4 mile run outside I did a 30 minute hills run on the treadmill (varying inclines for 1 or 2 minute increments).

Did the family Thanksgiving dinner at noon, then since I didn't have to go to the gym I came home & took a nap. It was kind of awesome.

Tim I'm kind of jealous of your Turkey Trot. There would have been one in the closest large city but I didn't sign up for it.
