Good morning everyone! I hope you all are having a good weekend so far...Today I ran my usual 5k and worked out my back and abs for a total calorie burn of 711 in 77 minutes.0

LOVE today's saying!
Today's plan is an 8 mile run - last Saturday I ran 7 for the first time, and the Saturday before that I ran 6 for just the second time, so my trainer is certainly challenging me. The roads I usually run on are still ice-covered but there's a street a couple blocks over that is more heavily traveled so I'm hoping the shoulders on that will be clear. If that's the case I can do 4 miles out & back. I've been using the Endomondo website to plot my longer routes and when I see how far 8 miles really is, it kind of freaks me out. But nothing ventured, nothing gained.0 -
Today I did a lower body workout. 50 minutes. Too many squats! Burned 624 calories though! Yeah!0

Started day with Nia class, busy day its my bill & budget day and I want to started decorating. I have xmas bookclub party at my house in a few weeks and want to be ready.
Also might go on dog walk with husband.0 -
I got in 100 jump ropes, 2 supersets of granny pushups, bicep curls, tricep kick backs, isometrics, and sledgehammers. ETA- and an hour walk.0

I did get my 8 mile run in, but it was brutal. My legs started cramping around mile 5. At 6.2 I stopped to do some dynamic stretches which helped. The final half mile I just gutted out. I had planned my run to end at a convenience store a mile from my house (and brought money to go pick up something to drink on my cool-down walk) and it helped that I could see their sign for the final half mile. Ended up hitting 8 miles right in their parking lot.0
