Merry Christmas everyone!
Laura, I loved your update yesterday. Isn't it great when it's not about what you "have to do", but what you "want to do"!! I'm with you....sometimes a run is EXACTLY the thing you need.
(I might be a little jealous of that freedom you have. I just have to keep up my psychological momentum for when I'll have that freedom for 4hrs per day when lil girl finally goes to kindergarten. )
Only got about 2hrs sleep last night due to cough, etc , added to my son waking us early to open gifts (heehee). So as soon as the fam leaves to see the greatgrandmother, I'll probably straighten up, vacuum & clean the floors (no kids=time to clean the floors), put on some of the food for our turkey dinner (yep, we found turkey!--not very common in Greece), configure my son's new WiiU, and then hit the sack for a nap!
I hope you are all having a magical Christmas!0 -
Sorry you didn't sleep well Sherry! That's the worst when you're sick - you need the sleep to get better but you can't sleep because you're sick. Hopefully your afternoon nap is blissful. I might do the nap first, then the cleaning.

I'm not entirely sure what my workout today will be. I'm thinking light cardio (probably just a walk) and then do some hip & shoulder resistance band exercises that are part of my normal routine. I'm heading over to my sister's for lunch today & will throw my gym bag in the car so I can just stop on the way home.

Merry Christmas to all! Starting today I'm taking a full week off the gym and running I figure it's a good idea since I've been pushing hard these last 5 months...So January 1st I will reset hopefully my shoulder is better by then if not then at least start running again.0

Merry Christmas everyone!
Hope you get some sleep tonight Sherry. Tim fingers crossed that your rest will help heal...Laura have fun!
I will go for a walk later when it warms up a bit, still pretty cold out, mid 20's.
This is our year at home alone and thats fine with me, nice and quiet. We fly to visit kids every other year.
Mike is on call with taxi and already took emergency medical test from our local clinic to hospital in next big town (about 40 min drive, he said they ran out to greet him and hugged him so must have been important) and now taking a big van of people up to pass to ski. I am hoping sneak in a good late breakfast for him.0 -
I ended up taking today as a rest day. My usual rest day (Friday) I'm seeing my trainer to make up for not seeing him today, so either I take a rest day today or I won't get one for another week.
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!0
