I would use a seperate app to track excercise. I wasn't that impressed with what they offer for excercise input.0

What kind of fitness activities did you do during this dvd? See if you can search by type (pilates, yoga, cardio etc).0

try aerobics, dance or kickboxing, etc. instead. whatever kind of dvd it is. i do turbo jam dads and I log it as kickboxing0

do you have a heart rate monitor? if so then you can add in your own exercise with create a new exercise.. if you are asking what to use to calculate a calorie burned idea.. then i dont know what to tell you because most workouts here are inflated.0

What DVD? You might just have to estimate. For example, I take a PIYO (pilates/yoga) class. I found pilates when I searched for it and put down 50 minutes of that but I felt that it over-estimated the calories burned for me so I dropped it down a bit. So just find something general if your DVD is a specific type of training and adjust from there.
When I lift, I do enter info for every set. It's really not worth that much but it helps me time my sets keeps me busy and pushing.0 -
Once you add every exercise in for a day... the next day simply copy the previous day's exercise. That works well for me. You can edit the daily entry once it is added. I do that with my food all the time... no more search and find and my entries are done in a snap!
Note: This works well for me because I do the same exercise and eat the same foods very often... your other option would be to copy an entry from a specific date.
Play around... you will find a way to work within the app. For me that is so much easier than trying to log info in two applications. Remember, calories burned in exercise, just like calories consumed IT IS NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE. There will always be variables so I suggest you use this app as a guideline in your quest for improved fitness.
Great success to you!0
