How Often Do You Change / Wash Bedsheets ?

I hated changing sheets because I had the same ones for YEARS and finally got some new ones. I've gone 6 months without changing because our old washer / drier couldn't handle it. We now have an HE washer && dryer; Just changed my sheets after 3 months (from one new set to another new set) simply because I'm still so glad I got new sheets !

Once a week. More often if they get extra dirty. ;)

When you're sleeping skin cells and oil and bacteria rub off and collect on the sheets, saliva drips, snot, etc. It's just kinda gross to leave that go for 3-6 months.

I try for once a week but it ends up being between every other week and once a month. Sometimes I don't change everything, just the bottom sheet and pillow cases.
  • You're supposed to change them?

    LOL. Same same.

During the spring/summer/fall definitely every week. At minimum.

For the winter months, I'm seriously in love with our cozy flannel sheets so we change them a bit less often. Maybe every 2 weeks coinciding with "warmer" temps (above freezing) so I can stand to use the regular sheets for a week or so before sticking the flannels back on. Plus we are not getting super sweaty in the winter (usually).
