Studies have shown that 100% of people who consume dihydrogen monoxide die.

Studies have shown that 100% of people who do yoga die. What is the point of this statement? WE ALL DIE!

I'm pretty sure that was the point

    Don't be fooled.
This is an excellent marketing opportunity.
They can have this big to-do over this chemical, then remove it from their bread and re-introduce their brand again

Talk about making lemonade out of lemons. Genius.

Subway just announced they are removing the chemical....

all prepared food is full of toxins and poisons...they want us sick...can't make money if you are healthy

    Who want you sick?

Last I was aware, Subway wasn't owned by any hospitals, despite the parent company's name (Doctor's Associates, Inc.)

Or are you implying that big pharm and big sandwich are in bed?
the government wants you to get sick so you are forced to go to the hospital so they can make money off of your unpaid medical bills

    /sarcasm

    I knew it!

    THANKS OBAMA.

Personally, I would rather get a sandwich from my local Italian deli anyway, it may have more calories but at least I know what's in it...

Assuming they use bleached flour, and I'd put money on the fact that they do, then you'll be getting azodicarbonamide.

They probably also use some of the same deli meat and produce suppliers as Subway.

But if them being a local deli makes you feel better, have at it. Just remember that you only hear about the stuff in big chains because they are big chains. Little local delis don't make the news for their additives.

Chemicals aside, the smell that wafts from the door of every Subway I've ever walked past is enough to make me avoid them!

I hear they put water in their soda. And water is found in all kinds of stuff that's not supposed to be eaten.

I'd be mostly concerned with the usually high levels of sodium in anything from subway.

I would also say that the very fact that there is a high sodium content in many of their menu items is another logical reason why Subway should be avoided.

Sorry if I repeated the person above me thoughts on this subject.

However, the fact that there is way too much sodium in the American food supply can never be said enough...
