First exercise program

I usually workout in the gym 3 days a week but want to do more than that, but don't always feel like going. So I was just curious what is considered the most popular or best seeling workout? I imagine it's probably Insanity or P90X. T25 seems too new to be up there. Maybe JM could be up there. Those are the only ones I know. Or maybe it's one that I didn't mention. If not, which would you say is more popular? I figured whatever one is most popular is most popular for a reason so I would try that first.

In my opinion, the best exercise is strength training, weight lifting specifically.

One that YOU like to do. Honestly I Would Not recommend Insanity and P90X first. Too many people get two weeks in and stop because they are HARD. T25 Is a better start.
  • Thanks guys! It's also a curiosity thing of what program is most popular.

they're popular because of marketing, not necessarily because of performance.

what kind of work outs are you doing now? why do you not feel like going?

If you're into dance, I suggest Zumba. You'll see lots of regulars, it's a very good (cardio) workout, and a lot of fun. (^_^) Of course, this is only if you like dance... if you don't that's like telling someone who's afraid of planes to become a pilot. Keep in mind that, although courses are lots of fun, you could just do something like find a weekly tennis partner. It gives the same things (with less people... unless you join a soccer team or something), so unless you're looking to target something specific, this might also work for you.

Have fun doing whatever you decide! (^_^)

Strength training. And mostly just time constraints and the trainer I work with is only available Mon, Wed, Fri. at times that I can do. Plus I am training with him for free with free gym access cause it's at my school but I commute so I can't always make it there everyday.

I think I'm gonna start either JM Ripped in 30 or T25 either way now. But I was curious which was more popular since it seems it's either P90X or Insanity.
