So I work abroad, 12 000km away from my loved ones... I haven't seen them in 6 months & 30lbs! Flying back to South Africa on Saturday and I CANNOT wait to see if they'll even recognise me when I walk through the doors of the Arrivals Lounge, hehehe! :laugh: I'll report back when I get there, and maybe post some before&after pics too then (I've been holding off coz I wanted my new leaner frame to be a surprise - for them as much as for myself) :blushing:

    Hi all!

    I'm just back from my holidays and ITCHING to get back on track with my weightloss journey... I had a fantastic time at home, and my friends & family were blown away when they saw me for the first time in 6 months & minus 30lbs (my mum started crying coz she didn't recognise me at first haha!!). I said before that I'd consider putting up before & after pics when I got back...and well, I'm so amped by my loved ones' reaction that even the embarrassment at how I looked before fades into COMPLETE INSIGNIFICANCE compared to the pride I now feel at my achievement. One little thing though: these aren't "before & after's" - they're "before & during's" since I still want to lose another 25-30lbs and..... IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!!

    [20mins later: Sadly it seems l've been proven wrong and Impossible is loading photos >.<]
