Help! I am having a hard time (again! even after a month) finding what macros numbers are right for me. If I am a couch potato that day 1250 to 1300 is fine. But if I am active like I have been lately (been remodeling). I get weak and shaky, get a headache and/or just feel awful and tired all day. On here and iifym.com it says for me to eat 1650 to maintain. And both say close to same thing on weight loss, iifym says 1385, here said 1400. So I am good with those numbers. I just raised them today to 1385, from 1330 this last week & half and 1200 before that. So I assume these number are correct for me or at least close to correct.
BUT as for carbs/pro/fats they are different. Here says carbs173, protien69, fats46. iifym says carbs135, pro111, fats44....before I had it set to 35/35/30 which WAS adjusted from the recommended macros for this site based on iifym. I have a very hard time meeting those numbers. I usually am higher on carbs and lower on protein...so with that being said..idk what numbers are right. Do I go with what this site says?? Do I meet in the middle?? Why the difference?? I mean, I really don't understand macros. I do not want to loss muscle but I am not lifting/building either, just toning. I am usually on my feet all day but not necessarily doing anything "active". I exercise usually 3 to 4 days a week an average of 30 mins doing calisthenics. Past week I have not b/c of the remodeling. (hanging, finishing, painting drywall. hanging cabinets, cleaning cleaning cleaning)
I am always hungry! Some days of course are worse than others. Usually I can deal with it, not all the time tho. But I am NEVER full or satisfied.
Please help!

One thing at a time. Concentrate on finding a calorie goal at which you lose weight. Work on logging everything you eat accurately & honestly. Weigh your food.
After a few weeks of solid logging, you can start working on your macros. I'm less hungry when I use MFP's default protein & fiber goals as minimums & ignore fat & carbs. It will take trial & error to find what works for you.

I am losing weight, 10lb in one months time and I do weigh my foods, or meats rather. I'm just very confused about the macros b/c I always feel hungry. not just a little hungry but a lot. So having a hard time figuring out how many of what my body needs. And then how to get it. You'd think after a month I would have figured this out. lol!
And thank you, I will read the link now0 -
Weigh everything—not just meat. And open your diary if you want opinions on your macros.
When in doubt, eat more protein.0
