I need some new and fresh ideas for weeknight dinners that don't take a lot of time and effort to make! I feel like I make the same stuff all the time , so I'm asking for your help! What are your go to's? Thanks in advance!

I also make the same things all the time - working full time and a toddler means I have little time in the evening so I tend to do the following:

    - Stir fries (various different meats or prawns with tons of veg and noodles)
    - Omelettes (again lots of varieties - whatever's in the fridge!)
    - Slow cooker chicken (and lots of other things in the slow-cooker!)
    - Grilled chicken, turkey or salmon with seasoning and a ton of veg/salad
    - Chilli

Ummm can't think of anymore right now!

I'd love to hear some new ideas too!

apricot glazed pork chops with rice and a veggie (the rice is always the last thing to be done thats how fast it cooks) recipe on allrecpes.com

chicken broccoli stir fry. uses italian peppers instead of bell peppers so its not such a powerful pepper taste. y kids go nuts for this, even my 2 year old.

    crockpot anything

    beer can pork chops

i cook on the cheap because i'm broke. i have more if you want. my diary is open if you want to take a look at calorie counts and such.

Cheeseburger casserole, meatloaf, tacos, burgers, otherwise it's typically grilled chicken sausages of all kinds, grilled chicken, grilled steak, sometimes fish, that we have with veggies and noodles, potatoes, couscous or rice.

I'm in the same boat, I have a 3 year old and by the time I get home from picking her up from daycare after work she's really hungry. When I make spaghetti I use the whole wheat noodles and ground chicken/turkey for the meat, so it's a little healthier than the usual spaghetti. Sometimes we just have turkey/chicken with a veggie and fruit. I'm not the worlds greatest cook so I keep it pretty simple. We do scrambled eggs sometimes with a little cheese. Or I'll steam up some broccoli and put some shredded cheese on it. I could use some ideas too. Lol.

I am also wanting quick, family meals. I need meals that take 20 minutes or less to.produce... And that my four kids, plus my partnerwill eat. Most of the.time I cook roasted chicken and veg, grilled fish/lamb/pork with veg or salad.
