Lump feeling in throat during HIT

Good Evening- I have recently been experiencing a lump type feeling in the back of my throat during workouts, and it progresses through the day. It causes a gag type reflex where I have to stop my workout. I have researched and it seems like it may be a post nasal drip or something similar dealing with allergies ( as I live in the south and have pollen everywhere right now). Has anyone else experienced this issue or had some way to help stop it. It is keeping me from being able to do a long workout , especially HIT training. I have and still am taking a decongestant and antihistamine but still shows up.
Thanks
Thanks

Could be an oesophageal carcinoma. Maybe go to a doctor?0

No- it is not like a lump ( as an actual lump) it is a lump , as when you get sinus drainage in the back parts of your throat, where you constantly feel like you must "cough" something up.0

Oh right. Could be one of those insects or worms that burrow under the skin and lay eggs.
Have you been to any exotic countries recently?0 -
Could be esophageal spasm....I get that sometimes and know exactly how it feels and it sucks !!!0
