Easter Day

Today was wonderful, filled with family and friends, I was perfect all day had my usual shake for breakfast, we were on the go so I had a meal bar for lunch.. But then we got home and we cooked out. I already had my whole meal planned BUT my goodness those burgers made me think twice about my salad.. I ended up making it though and I feel replenished Not satisfied emotionally but I know that if I had given in and even had a bite I would feel worse.. SO yay a victory for me today!! Made it thought Easter candy and Easter Breakfast and a cookout!! Not only without cheating my self but without as many cravings as I would of had even 2 weeks ago..

On another note as we drove home though the park I saw so many people stuffing their faces with sweets cupcakes candy and in stead of think oooooo I want those!! I thought wow I am so greatful I am free from that.. Because when that was me every car that went pass or person who walked by I felt was judging me I would be thinking all they see is a fat chick stuffing her face, I enjoyed the sweets but I paid for them from the inside out both physically and emotionally!

For today I feel excited!

    Brandy,
WTG on remaining abstinent through Easter! I believe we judge ourselves more than others, especially when we are hiding in our disease. These daily victories adds up and before you know it, you wont have to think twice about abstaining, it will come naturally. We all know that this program works if you work it!

Have a great, abstinent day everyone!
