    NO CAKE.....get some nice chocolate covered strawberries...or a beautiful potted floral plant....jewelry....card....a movie night...do the house cleaning for her...breakfast in bed.....take her to the park...take her fishing......be creative :-) I'm a mom, and well, this is a fitness site....I would want just about ANYTHING but cake from my husband on Mother's Day.

    Agree, and let's add: manicure and pedicure, or a facial, or a massage :smile:

    Personally I guess I'd settle for 6" if I really had to. But I'd rather try to accommodate the 9" one.

    I did the chocolate covered strawberries for her birthday earlier this year. We were driving near Smith Island and saw a billboard about their famous 10 layer cake. She commented she had always wanted to try it.
