    Always had larger hips and bum. The beauty is that everyone has a different shape and size. If we were all the same, it'd be quite boring.

    I have scoliosis, so if my body is straighter i think i could get a smaller waist. And of course more height ;A; My waist in proportion to my hips make me look wide and straight.

    Comparing yourself is not worth it! My two friends and I just started the 30DS and decided to take our measurements. I weigh 182 and they both weigh 200.

    My waist was bigger than both of theirs by at least two inches but I had smaller hips because we are built so differently. I am an apple shape and they are both really pear. I also have huge breasts whereas they are both smaller up top.

    Everyone has drastically different body types and shapes and comparing against others isn't going to do anything except for make you feel better in some ways and worse in others. The only thing you can do is to compare against yourself! Take measurements every month and see how much you personally have lost.

    Correction: I had overestimated my weight! I weighed myself today. At 5' 3 1/2" I weigh 121 pounds. I am 5' 3 1/2" and 61 years of age. I took my measurements today: Bust 36", Waist 29", Hips 34" and Thigh 19." I snapped this pic of me today, I am wearing size 4 pants and the label in my shirt says "Small 3/5."

    It took a lot of dedication & hard work to reach my goals, but definitely worth it as I'm more confident in myself, both in appearance and exercise stamina. My goal now is to be 19-20% body fat, according to the gym scale; current is 22.2%.

    I am 5 ft 2. Waist is 42 and hips I think are 46. I weigh 235. I don't think you measured right.
