water replacing the sweat

I drink a half liter of water during and after my morning run. (4.4 miles @ 6.0 mph walk/cool down 1.4 miles @ 3.5 mph). Do I count this toward my total glasses drunk for the day or is some or all of this replacing the sweat? I check my hydration level twice a week on my bio scale and I'm always < 53.7 - 54.3>. So what do y'all think??

I think you're supposed to drink a minimum of 8-8oz glasses of water a day. It seems to me that if you're vigorously training you'll get thirsty and will need to drink more than just 8.0
