Big day for me today. One of the things that helped me to convince myself that WLS was the right answer for me was when my hips continued to get worse and I had to give up walking the golf course, drastically reduce the amount of basketball I played and even run less with the kids that I coach in basketball.

Well, for the first time in over a year, I walked 9 holes on the golf course! It hurt some, and it likely affected my swing some the last few holes, but I DID IT! Felt really good.

We'll see if I walk again next week, but t least it's within the realm of possibility again.

    Doing what you USED to do and wondered if you could ever manage to do again is the GREATEST feeling.

    Nice work Rob, now I suggest, if you are to this point yet, some nice ibuprofen for the DOMs that are sure to visit.

    So cool!! My parents dog is losing wt because I walk her a mile every time I walk her at a nice fast pace. Golfing is such good exercise

    Congratulations! You did it that was the point, next week if you have to take a ride do it then walk the entire 9 or 18 holes the following week. Rotate it until you can do the entire month of golf :)
