TSFL Vegetarians: Eating Out

Hi Veggies, or anyone who doesn't particularly want to order meat at a restaurant! What do you find success ordering out to dinner? Side salads are getting very old. Vegetarian options are very often some time of pasta, which I know is what got me to the weight I am now, but struggling with Lean and Greens that are not just processed veggie burgers.

I don't know if you choose to eat fish or not, I know lots of vegetarians that do and lots that don't. If you do eat fish you could try ordering some grilled fish. Ask the restaurant to not put any sauces on it, which adds tons of calories.

If you do not eat fish, I'm honestly not sure. I wish I had some better answers for you but I don't. I do eat meat and I still find myself ordering the same boring grilled chicken salad everytime I go out. I prefer staying home these days where I have more variety and control over my food. It's funny though, I used to JUMP at the chance to go out and not cook at home.
  • Vegetarians don't eat fish. Pescetarians do. They don't know the proper term for themselves.

I think you could have some luck looking into Japanese or Thai food.
