    Its ok....it was made hundreds of years ago before babies were actually classified as human. It is remarkably well preserved, and very elastic considering how old it is. And soooooooooo soft.....

    HE DOESN'T EVEN LIKE THE LAMP. He just wants to take it because he knows I love it. I am the one that fills it with oil...replaces the wicks, oils the delicate skin shade. He has tried several times to get me to sell in on Craigslist or throw it away.

    Whale oil isn't cheap.

    Baby skin lamps use baby oil. The kind made from real babies, not that imitation crap from Johnson & Johnson.

    You're right. I forgot about that, and that stuff is even more expensive than the endangered whale oil.
