ENERGY MEAL

I am going to the gym after work, what should I eat before had to give me some energy for the work out but not fill me up?

I eat a little protien/fat and carbs - like a rice cake with a little (measured) peanut butter, 1 slice of mulitgrain bread with either some lite mayo and turkey or 1/2 slice of cheese and an apple0

I also go to the gym first thing in the AM so I just need something easy to grab and go - then after I workout I have breakfast - something small0

I usually eat half a banana or something when I go straight to the gym from work, then when I get home I have dinner. Carbs is good before a workout. And make sure you eat something when you finish, like chocolate milk or a protein shake- within 15 minutes of finishing is idea.0
