Too much protein??

There have been a couple of days now where it says I am eating too much protein... Is this a bad thing? I work out and do weights so I know the protein is good for that, but what happens if I have too much? And is a couple of days going to matter or will that be ok?

    Protein is set quite low on here, don't worry if you exceed it..as long as you have veggies & fruit in your diet as well you'll be fine. I have reset my goals to allow much higher protein & I often exceed that too...protein keeps the hunger pangs at bay.

    Just make sure your protein is coming from extra lean sources; otherwise, don't worry about it. I eat consistently 110 grams of protein a day

    Great thanks! Yes most of my protein comes from egg whites or grilled chicken, sometimes peanut butter. So it's definitely nothing unhealthy

    I go over quite often too. Like someone already mentioned, MFP has it pretty low and if you get it from healthy sources don't fret.

    Protein is good, eat according to how you feel as well. Some people need more protein than others. Some people will feel hungry between meals it may mean they need more protein. If you feel good after you eat and have energy then you are doing something right.
