Cholesterol in eggs not being tracked?

I just set my food diary to track cholesterol, and even on the day I had a 4 egg omelette it still says 0 cholesterol.

Why's that?

Someone didn't put it in all the nutrition info when they entered the eggs. You might try a different egg entry in search, and report the bad entry to MFP.

Could be it, but it's saying 0 on every day. Surely I've had some cholesterol?

EDIT: scratch that, I see the chicken breast has shown cholesterol

Yeah eggs have like 300% your daily value when you have the yolks...

Yup, I thought they had a lot which is why I wanted to look at the rest of my intake. But to be honest, if I have an omelette once every week or two, even with yolks in, I'm not going to fret the cholesterol when I get very little from anything else.

Eggs have 185 mg of cholesterol each. About 60% of the recommended daily amount which is 300 mg. If you don't eat a diet high in cholesterol the rest of the day, and I doubt most of us do, you can easily eat one whole egg each day.

Cholesterol in the arteries is an inflammation response, not an effect of dietary cholesterol levels.

    Enjoy your eggs. :)

I was going off of this link - http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/dairy-and-egg-products/111/2 Didn't realize a serving is almost five eggs!!! That's how it was 300%.

Eggs are still excellent for you! MFP should at least let you track it if you do have cholesterol problems though. I love eggs.
