Are egg yolks really bad for you? Can I eat my eggs with the yolk if I need the calories they provide?

I eat whole regular eggs, that's just the part containing most of the Cholesterol.

Yolks are where all the nutrients are. They aren't bad for you, but you have to watch the choloesterol.

Only if you have a cholesterol problem, and even then an egg a day is fine. So go for it. Eggs are a great source of protein and are a great way to start your day.

As long as your diet is consistently healthy and you exercise regularly, then you should be fine. Dietary cholesterol and blood cholesterol are different.

Whole eggs are wonderful...and recent research now throws doubts that eating eggs has any significant affect on cholesterol levels. Like any other food, eat in a balanced healthy diet and theres no problem

Eat your yolks. Just make sure to buy cage free and organic eggs--they have more Omega's! :) I tend to buy from a farm that has never had a case of salmonella ever! So don't be afraid to eat the yolks.
