Well, happy to incite a spirited debate! While reading these replies I finished the rest of my pomegranate and now stand at 110+ grams of sugar today. Hmmmm, where's the chocolate?

yes of course it teachers you that you dont have to stay in your calorie deficit to get fat as why I quoted Lifting4Lis.There are more ways where you can actually train you metabolism to eat more than your maintenance if you read the articles its very interesting.
Reverse dieting allows you to eat more and will change your body composition,to many people eat far to low carbs and worry about sugar.

Reverse dieting is about trying to raise your metabolism, especially if you have damaged it, but it's not actually inconsistent with what Lifting4Lis said, and it's common to gain some weight doing it (according to the author of one of the links you gave).

Also, it has nothing to do with her point or with the OP's question, and certainly provides no support for the absurd notion that one can't gain weight from fruit or "healthy carbs" but only fat.

You are making me want to scream FAT makes you FAT, though. So thanks for that flashback.

I think you forgot to read the section on reverse dieting in that reverse dieting link.

You don't seem to understand what reverse dieting is. I'm not even going to say how reverse dieting is use and how someone doesn't reverse diet forever. That is something you should know.

It does not mean what you're saying it means. Go back and finish reading.

huh? what do you mean.... huh? lol

Fruits and all good carbs won't make you fat or gain weight, fat will.

Lol. Where did you learn that?

From freelee the banana girl... who doesn't actually have any nutrition credentials.

Why do you keep saying this? No one is saying that you can not gain weight outside of a deficit

Anything will make you gain weight if you eat enough of it. I know, math is hard...

As long as you're only eating a couple pieces of fruit a day at most, ignore it in your sugar limit. The fiber and nutrients are worth it. I do the same with sweet potatoes.
I try to limit sugar to 25 grams a day, and by not counting fruit and sweet potatoes, I have no problem staying under that. One apple alone could hit that limit.

I would love to debate you further but honestly I can't understand what you're saying. Not because I don't know the topic, because trust me when I say you don't get it, but the truth is your words make no sense. What are you even trying to say?

Thanks, I thought I was the only one who couldn't understand this person's run on, nonsensical posts. I thought I was drunk but I haven't been drinking in a while so that's not it. Maybe they should put more energy into actually trying to form coherent thoughts rather than silly jokes that only make sense to themselves.
