Hello everyone. I am a 27 year old female. I currently weigh 280 -- wear size 24 jeans and size 3x shirts. I have 2 kids ages 7 and 4. After I had my 2nd child that is when I actually started to gain weight. I had a job as a courier and had to drive about 4 hours early every morning. While I was driving I would always stop at a gas station and get a Mt. Dew and some kind of unhealthy snack like a candy bar or a bag of chips. By the time I got home I would be tired and wouldn't feel like doing anything. Then a few months of that I ended up breaking my leg. I broke my tibia and fibula and now have a metal rod and 4 screws in my leg. I wasn't able to put any pressure on my leg for a whole month and then once I finally could start putting pressure on my leg, I still had some pain. Fast forward 3 years to now.. I currently weigh 280 pounds and from time to time I still have some pain in the leg I broke. I work in an office, so I'm sitting most of the day. I'm SO tired of my leg being an excuse. I am going to push through the pain and find some exercises that I can do that won't put my leg in a lot of pain. I know that once I get some of this weight off that my leg will start feeling better.

My friend and I are starting to go to the gym at a minimum 4 days a week. What days we don't go, I plan to do some sort of exercising at home. My goal isn't to be super skinny, but I would LOVE to get back to the weight I was when I got out of high school which is 170. So, that's a little over 100 lbs that I need to lose. I'm not expecting it to be a miracle and it's going to be a lot of hard work, but I am SO SO ready. My reward to myself once I get down to my goal weight is I'm going to Cedar Point (amusement park) and I'm going to ride the Millennium Force that I was too big to ride 3 years ago and it's going to be amazing.

I would love to have some friends on here that may have a similar situation and anyone that is willing to be supportive! Thanks for reading!

I sent a request (anyone else can feel free to add me if they wish). As someone who has had major injuries that I am coming back from, be sure and talk with your doctor to make sure that you don't re-injure yourself or if there is something off limits. I found out the hard way that an elliptical is a no go for me (due to a pelvis and hip injury) and it cost me months of not being able to work out.
