Hello everyone.
I have lost 40 kilos within a year now.
Now everybody seem to be concerned about how thin I look.
I just Googled the anorexia symptoms and I'm scared to death as it seems that I have most of them.
I work out really hard sometimes 4 hours a day 6 days a week and although I'm just so tired.. but I refuse to stop.
Please help

If you are concerned that you might have an eating disorder, then talking to someone is a good idea. Here are some resources that might help:

I have EDNOS, and have had it for 17 years. Simply over exercising doesn't mean you have an eating disorder. There is certain criteria you must fall in. For anorexia, you have to starve yourself, have less than 18.5 for a BMI, and stop menstruating. There's about seven or eight different types. EDNOS is Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. I exhibit anorexia traits, but have a BMI in the healthy range, and still get my period. I also exhibit bulimia traits, but it's less than 3 times a day/ 5 times a week.
Seek out a therapist to work on this early.

Definitely go to the link kgeyser posted and try to seek help from a therapist as well. No one should try to diagnose you over the internet.

    Good luck with your recovery.

My bmi is 19. My percent body fat is seriously too low and I stop ed menstruating months ago.
    20. And yet all I seem to worry about is how to get lower numbers on the scale. :(

Depends on the duration you've been doing this, where you started weightwise, how long the urge to lose has happened.
If it took you a year to lose weight, you could just be obsessing about losing weight since its what you e been doing for awhile. Any eating disorder is mental. The main focus you fixate on food is because you can't handle something that affected you emotionally in life.

I'm not an expert or anything but I wouldn't say your anorexic, I'd just say your pushing yourself a bit too much on working out.. I think you should lower the hours to about 2 and fewer days to about 3 days a week.

Solid first post. NOT. You know NOTHING about the OP.

Hon, please go talk to a doctor, the sooner the better. Get treatment before this gets so far out of control that you end up damaged and hospitalized. Bless you.

The OP? If you're not going to be helpful, why be hurtful?

What was hurtful about referring to the Original Poster as the OP?

And, my follow up post to the OP suggested she user kgeyer's link.

Keyword 'damage'. Im only 27 years old, have struggled 17 years with one. I have two heart conditions, arthritis in my knees, hips, wrists, and shoulders, weak muscles, and weak bones. It sucks when it's too late to see the damage.
