Hi I'm Marilyn....today is my first day . Class starts in less than an hour. I have been putting off doing something for myself for a long time. I am a single mother with three kids and a very fulfilling full time job. I always seem to have a reason why I can't exercise but the reasons aren't there any more. My kids are getting older and I have time after work to do something for myself before I get home to them...summer is coming...I am getting older....I want to enjoy being with my friends and not be self conscious about what I am wearing...most importantly I need to make healthier choices. Exercise and good eating habits have been lacking. Starting today.. :)

    Hi Marilyn - you can do this! I am your same age and my kids are also mostly grown up now. I started my weight loss and workout routine on MFP one year ago and I have lost over 50 pounds. Previously, I had never lost any weight. You can do it too! I will send you friend request shortly.
