Whoopsie. It was a small, healthy snack and it wasn't that late but I'm sticking to the rules.

My challenge is I wake up in the middle of the night say Midnight very hungry! Therefore my goal is to have a high protein dinner by 6 pm and nothing else thereafter.

I am doing better with the LNS than I have before doing the challenge. The only issue is sometimes I feel like I cannot sleep if I don't have a snack. I know it is psychological because I am used to snacking before bed.0 -
BRaye - well done!! Very impressive!! Keep it up.
As for me, we had company for dinner and I forgot all about the challenge. However, once I remembered, I was even worse because I figured the damage was done. So stupid. I woke up during the night with a little stomach ache so no more late night snacking!!

Last night I "accidentally" ate some of what I was making for my lunch the next day. So that is something I need to do earlier and put away, or just get up in time to prepare a healthy lunch. Today, it's after 8:00 and no snack for me. Calling it.

I was doing so well today despite having brunch at a friend's house. I had a light breakfast and dinner so I felt comfortable with where I was at. I had some strawberries and shortcake for dessert with a dollop of whipped cream. I had went slightly over my caloric intake for the day but considering all the temptations I had during the day, I felt comfortable with where I finished eating for the day.
I often have trouble sleeping at night -- I get restless, toss and turn in bed then "think" if I have "something" it will assuage my hunger and I can get to sleep. It started out innocently enough with a large celery stalk with some cream cheese then went quickly downhill from there. I promised myself that even if I binge eat, I will always record faithfully what I consume. So here's what I ended up eating before I put on the brakes.
1 Large Celery stalk with cream cheese (2 Tbsp.)
1.4 ounces of Roasted Turkey Breast
1 ounce of Planter's Dry Roasted Peanuts
1 ounce Cheez-its
1 ounce Pepperidge Farm Goldfish
1/2 ounce Lay's Potato Chips
1 ounce of Monterey Jack Cheese
1 Trader Joe's Enchanted Cracker
and finally finished up with 5 ounces of Watermelon Cubes.
I felt possessed by something larger than myself and now I feel ashamed of what I just did. Any one of these items is usually enough to satisfy my cravings but I just could not stop tonight.
Any suggestions on stopping this cycle once it starts?
