Light between my thighs

When I stand naked with my thighs together, I can see daylight. I wouldn't call it a gap, exactly (my husband does, God Bless Him!) but it's a start! I still have a little bit of a tummy, but I am hopeful that I will be at least slender enough to rock a high-waisted rockabilly style two piece this summer. My husband last says he last remembers seeing daylight between my thighs when we were in our 20s. B) Although, it is definitely a gap when I'm in tight blue jeans. . .so maybe I'll count it anyway, LOL!

(Oh, for the record I have incredibly wide hips. If I had slender hips, I'm sure I wouldn't have daylight, but hey, I'll take it! )

Running and hiking rocks at moving things around in my problem areas!

Love it! I have been doing a similar thing recently where I stand in front of a mirror, rotate around, and look for that tiny sliver of light. It's only barely there first thing in the morning when I'm totally dehydrated, but whatever, I'll take it!

Congratulations. I don't think that my body is meant to have a space there. I honestly can't remember ever having one, but I'd love one, as superficial as it is. I'm grateful to be healthy and able-bodied, but I still admire a lovely set of legs in skinny jeans with that gap.

I have that as a goal image in my mind of standing the sensation of my thighs touching is absent. I've been thin for years then a cluster f*** of things happenlast summer and I'm carrying an extra 30lbs and my thighs rub together - it really is the worst part of the weight for me and I can't stand the sensation. Your post has reminded me how wonderful it feels to be free of it!! Thanks so much - you made my day. Well done sister :)

I was hoping someone else would get why this is such a big deal for me! <3<3<3 !

Yeah, gle8442, now I'm peering at that mirror every morning. . .do I still see daylight? When I look longingly at some bit of food, I think "do I want to sacrifice my daylight?"

spzjib - I thought my days of daylight were long past me. But I'm also quite sure it's only possible now due to having freakishly wide hips (I legit have a genetic abnormality in my hips!) My legs are just spread wide apart!

hellbettybrat - oh yeah, the feeling of walking across a room and not having your thighs rub together. . .that is the best, isn't it? I love that feeling. I am still having some chafe when I'm running, but I am hopeful that it be verra, verra minimal by September. You'll get back there: just stick with it! I've been running and hiking for about a year and a half to get to this point.

    Ya'll have a good day! :)

    Nice one :-) It's a feeling I don't remember, but now I'm looking forward to it :-)
