Unless you have an intolerance to an ingredient, why would any food be "bad" for you? I imagine the amount of bread sold and eaten worldwide on a daily basis points towards it being quite safe to eat.
Glass on the other hand, eating glass is bad.0 -
I am was a bread *kitten*..I choose whole grain or multi grain bread now and only eat a small amount..
It is not bad for you.. you have decide how you want to eat your calories and bread does not fit in for me..only a lower calorie option for toast, sandwiches, etc..0 -
No food is bad. It just all has to be eaten in moderation. If it fits into your calorie goals, eat bread.0

If you have gluten sensitivities, yes.
If you have PCOS or another condition where you need to watch your carb intake, maybe.
If you have none of the above, no.0 -
if you have a medical condition or food allergy then yes it should be avoided…if not, then no there is nothing bad about bread.
hit your calorie/macro/micro targets and eat the damn bread …

The bread in France causes massive weight loss. It is magical.
OK that isn't true, but the bread in France is very good. Yum.0 -
I still eat bread....I won't give up anything to lose weight that I'm not willing to give up forever. To keep the weight off....this has got to be a lifestyle change for me.0

I love bread but I work hard not to over-indulge, as in finishing off an entire loaf in a day. Bread is great served with a meal, for instance, including vegetables and meat, and maybe a small piece of hard cheese.
A little slice of heaven:

There's nothing inherently wrong with bread, although some types (like 100% whole grain) have more nutrients than certain others.0

White glass is the best!
Zero calories, appetite supressant, AND it gives you TONS of energy!
It is pretty expensive though, and usually leads you into a life of crime, but hey... anything for that beach body!0 -

I personally try to avoid eating bread. I find that it makes me bloated and is simply not worth the calories for me

I totally agree. I have PCOS and haven't had bread in long time. Just by eliminating bread (wheat) from my diet, the horrible bloating stopped. I had some today and I got a bad rash in my face. I'm not sure if I'm gluten intolerant, but bread and I stopped being friends long ago. (We used to be inseparable)
However, you shouldn't eliminate it, just because others say it's a 'bad' food. As long as it fits your macros, you'll be fine.0
