burning up

I just started at the health club 2 and a half weeks ago. I have lost 11 pounds since I started. I do an Aquafit class twice a week, then 40 minutes doing laps in the pool. 2 days a week I do strength training and 20 minutes on the stationary bike. I had a lap band in 2009 at 379 pounds and slowly worked it with no exercise to 265 two weeks ago. I dont work out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as I work 10 hour shifts. Here is my problem. I AM FREAKING BURNING UP! I am so hot all the time since I started this new routine. Is this normal? I have never been a fit person, even when I was thin so this is all new to me. I feel like I am going to spontaneously combust! This is even on the days I am not working out. Any ideas, tips or should I just keep a fire extinguisher handy?

Well, strength training does raise metabolism, which increases heat output. But you might have something else going on too. Check your temperature with a body thermometer at various times of the day, and post your results.
Just curious.... when were you thin.. and why did you gain? You're anonymous - you can tell us.0 -
I was thin until I had my first child at 21, got thin again when he was 5, steady gained it all back, ate out of boredom and the fact I like food. Gained a ton after I had twins and topped out at 3790
