    6/1: Marathon recovery day
    6/2: 1.3 miles nice and slow

    Quads are still sore from Sunday (probably because they were intermittently cramping for the last 2-3 miles of the marathon) but otherwise feeling good. Should be back to 4-6 milers this weekend :)

    I'm doing eccentric heel drops to help it heal. Several places online have called this the "gold standard" for Achilles Tendinopathy. I've been pretty happy with the results.

    1/6 - Recovery
    2/6 - 14.4 miles (2 runs)

    This mornings 9 miles was well rivers of mud. Doing a lot of hill sessions this month, So 9 miles of hill repeats in the pouring rain with trails that had turned to rivers of mud . It was fun honest

    This evening just over 5 miles with my 4 legged training partner was like a different day with sunshine and a lot less mud. Some pictures from this afternoon below, Notice the labrador leaving me in her wake in the second one

    5/120 miles

    It was too beautiful this afternoon to stay inside! Went back out and walk-ran (about 75% walk, 25% run) which really loosened up my stiff post-marathon quads. Plus I got to explore the park by the house my parents moved into last winter and it was very pretty and peaceful.

    Training plan looks like 60ish on the miles this month. So my goal will be adjusting my goal accordingly.
