Hey guys, this is the first time I have posted on the forums! I have used myfitnesspal on and off for like 6 months. I am kind of apprehensive when it comes to adding my daily exercise and eating extra calories that I have earned. What is your guys experience with adding exercise to your journal? I'm afraid eating those extra "earned" calories will set me back on my cutting/weight loss goals. Thanks guys!!!

Eat back half since most times estimates are high. I estimate cals using tdee method which incorporates activity levels so I don't eat my exercise cals

I generally don't eat back my exercise calories, but that's just me. The general consensus is to eat back half of your exercise calories for the exact reason maasha said.

When I set up my daily caloric need with the app it asked me my activity level. Should I track my exercise cals still?

Yes. The activity level is for day-to-day things, not deliberate exercise.
